My best friend and I got matching tattoos today! They are the little stars that are on the corners of all the pages of the Harry Potter books. We wanted a subtle tribute to HP (it changed our lives!) that only a real fan would recognize and still look cute on its own to “outsiders”. Also three is both of our favorite numbers because its a fairy tale number (three wishes, three bears…etc) and it also represents past, present and future. And after 18 years of friendship- thats all we’ve got.
My best friend and I are getting our matching Harry Potter tattoos tomorrow!

It says “Alis Volat Propriis” which is latin for “She flies with her own wings” which really explains my journey so far in life. It is also Oregon’s state motto, which is my wonderful home.
COMING SOON: my HP tattoo and my boxcar children one! SO EXCITED.
